He’s been a Broker, General Contractor, a third-party Property Manager and an Owner Manager of Office, Retail, Industrial and Apartment products in the Chicago MSA where he was born and raised. His upbringing in the Midwest instilled in him the ethics of hard work and family. At age 12, he was involved in learning the family business and with such an early introduction to the fundamentals of the business world, developed a passion that carried into his early adult life. After spending a short time in a technical school, Rod further pursued an education focused solely on strengthening those fundamentals he learned so early on and earned his bachelor’s degree at Lockyear Business College.
After 29 years gaining his vast experience working in different aspects of Commercial Property Real Estate, his journey led him to a short-term property management assignment. This four-year endeavor was to take over management of several assets that were underperforming. Rod and his dedicated team worked diligently to transform those assets. Their hard work led the assets to become profitable and achieve optimal stability.
